ROSS, Georgeannia (Burkhardt) Age 65 of Miamisburg, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2008 surrounded by her family. She was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Burkhardt and sister, Patsy Slonaker, of Beavercreek. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ralph Ross; her son Tony, (Tuesday), Taylor and Jacob Ross; her daughter Lisa, (Chris), Sara, Emily, and Gracie Ankeney; and daughter Lori, (Jack), Jessica, Tyler, and Julia Ikerd, all of Miamisburg. She is also survived by her sister, Dotty Massa of Ventura, California; her brothers Tom (Patty) Burkhardt; Otto (Janet) Burkhardt; and Bill (Peggy) Burkhardt, all of Beavercreek. A very special thank you to Dr. Robert Raju and his staff at Dayton Oncology for their care and compassion extended to her. Georgeannia graduated from Beavercreek High School, class of 1961. She was a member of ABWA of Dayton and the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America. There will be no visitation or services at this time. Georgeannia was devoted to her family with a mission to serve others. Her legacy of giving will live on, as she gave her body for research to the Wright State Anatomical Gift Program. Memorial contributions may be made to her favorite charities, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Miles 4 Smiles, Children's Cancer Research Fund, in Georgeannia's memory.
