On Monday morning, October 10th, 2011 our beloved Linda Hill of Pax, passed away quietly in her sleep. She was 56 years of age. Linda Laura Moore was born on Nov. 4th, 1954 at Beckley. One of five children her parents were the late Martha Moore and John Paul Moore of Daniels. Her brother, James Terry Moore has preceded her in death. Linda attended Woodrow Wilson High School and graduated from Boheker’s Technical College in Ravenna, Ohio. She will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, mother, and sister. Those left to cherish her memory is her family, her husband of the last 17 years, James Hill; her children, Sherri Lea Ewing and her children, Tohnny, Sarah, Lorenzo, Teddy Marshall and Daya, all of Hilltop and daughter, Selena Dawn Williams and her children, Kaylea and Alexandria Fate; her brother, Paul Michael and his wife, Betty of Pax and sisters, Cindy Bair and her husband, Stephen Bair of White Oak and Melanie Moore of Phoenix, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. On Thursday morning, October 13th at 11 a.m. we will remember the life of Linda Hill with a service of Remembrance at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. Pastor David Downs will be officiating. Linda will then be laid to rest in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Cabin Creek. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
