CHARLESTON - Douglas Ray Sizemore, 49, of First Avenue, formerly of Beckley, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, in Charleston following an apparent heart attack. Born April 9, 1954, in Beckley, he was the son of Thelma Whitt Sizemore of MacArthur and the late Charles Owen Sizemore. Mr. Sizemore spent his childhood in MacArthur. He was a 1972 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Beckley College and he attended West Virginia University where he studied pre-med. He had been a resident of Charleston for the past eight years and was currently employed by the Embassy Suites Hotel. He was of the Christian faith. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, H.H. and Oley Sizemore, and paternal grandparents, J.F. and Pearl Whitt. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Sandy Suppa Sizemore; a daughter, Amanda Ruth Sizemore of St. Albans; and stepdaughter, Trina Munsey of Charleston. Graveside funeral rites and burial will be 1 p.m. Friday in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Garden of the Apostle, Princeton, with the Rev. Daniel Legg officiating. Arrangements by Melton Mortuary, Beckley
