Teresa Armentrout, 55, went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2015, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born January 17, 1959, in Hinton, WV, she was the daughter of James Elbert Bragg and Helen Maxine Bragg.

Teresa spent her childhood in Prosperity before moving to Piney View. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1977, and graduated from college in California.

She served 8 years active duty and 14 years reserve duty in the Navy. She was employed by DHHR, Office of the Inspector General, Investigations and Fraud Management Unit for 20 years, before retiring in July 2013.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband David and their family, her mother Helen Bragg, and brother Gary Bragg and Danita of Maple Fork.

Services to celebrate the life of Teresa Dawn Armentrout will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Pastor Cecil Smith officiating.

Friends may gather with the family from 1 p.m. until time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
