The wake for Captain Eric A. Jones, 29, a 1999 Fox Lane High School graduate, is scheduled for Friday, November 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Avenue, Mashpee, Mass.
The funeral will be held following day, Saturday, November 7 at 10:00 a.m. at John Wesley United Methodist Church, Gifford Street, Falmouth, Mass. Jones will then be laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Bourne with military honors, including a flyover by a Huey and two Cobra helicopters.
Eric Jones was killed Monday in Afghanistan when two helicopters collided in Helmand province. The incident remains under investigation.
