Attended Bowling Green State University, graduated with a B.S. in Biology, with an emphasis in Marine Science and Marine Husbandry (the same day and commencement as Mike Drane), in addition to that I spent 2 summers at the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory in Ocean Springs MS (hence I wasn't at the 5yr).
I spent the 1st 6 months out of college working for the university as an undergraduate research assistant to Dr. Miner doing S.C.U.B.A. research in Lake Erie.
Then I moved to the Florida Keys and lived in the sunshine in Marathon for a year. There I worked for Dynasty Marine Assoc. Inc., they are a marine fish wholesaler for live specimens to pet shops and public aquariums.
While the Geography was perfect the 60hr a week for salary wasn't and I moved to New Jersey, to the suburbs of Camden and Philadelphia. I've been here for 2yrs as a Biologist II at Adventure Aquarium, where I take care of the Caribbean Fish Gallery full time. Let me know if you are in the area I can give you a tour.
In June of 2007 I got married to Annie Carveth of Monroe MI. We have no kids yet but in they are in the future plans.
