Daniel J. Burgess: 67, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017. He was born on August 22, 1949 in Beech Grove, IN to Harry LaVern Burgess, Sr., and Virginia "Jennie" Louise (Barkman) Burgess. Daniel was a 1968 graduate of Beech Grove High School and worked as a Security Supervisor at Eli Lilly and Company from 1987 to 2012.
He was an avid IndyCar race fan and sports fan of the Colts and Pacers. Daniel enjoyed riding his horses, western movies, spending time outside, and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. He was a proud, loving father and protector of his family with a wonderful sense of humor.
