It is with great sadness to inform you of Jim Mitchell's death. Jim died due to Cancer.
He was retired and lived in Lewistown Montana with his wife, Linda.
We had the pleasure of a visit, in our home, from him and Linda this spring just days before his grand baby was born. I will forever cherish this visit as we reminisced about our school years, families and friends.
We were both looking forward to our 50 year class reunion. Jim had not changed much since our school days, still an upbeat, kind and true friend.
Jim will be dearly missed, as his close friend, Bob Martin said, "Jim was everyone's friend".
God Bless the Mitchell family and friends❤️
Sincerely
Dara Lynn Spomer Arnold

So sad to hear about Jim's passing. My thoughts go back to our fortieth class reunion with him telling such funny stories and how he hadn't changed much since high school. A very nice upstanding guy. My heart felt condolences to Linda and family. I feel blessed and honored to have known Jim.Diane Schell (Rowley)
Yes....thank you for posting this Dara Lynn! Such a lovely remembrance, too. So sorry to hear of his passing. We are entering that phase of life, aren't we!
Makes me think how important it is to enjoy life now! When we were in Costa Rica I was inspired by their philosophy of Pudra Vida. “Pura Vida” means that people need to be grateful for the things they do have in life, instead of dwelling on the negative things that they don’t. The phrase shows that no matter how bad you may think you have it, life for someone else can be far more less fortunate then your own. Life is too short to be worried and upset, everyone needed to make the most of life! All in all, the locals strive to live a stress free, laid-back life and they believe that their motto “Pura Vida” perfectly exemplifies how the locals live.
Pura Vida!
