After high school, I attended Western until 1995. Spent a lot of time traveling to CMU, State and Alma college during that time leaving my mark there. Oh, the good ole days. In 1995, I graduated from Western with a Bachelor's in Art with emphasis on graphic design.(no, I haven't really utilized my degree) I moved up to Grand Rapids and did some freelance design work and worked as a photographer for a few years and then got into the financial/banking industry. We decided to move back up to Traverse in 2000 and have been here since.
I work at Baird in Traverse City on a team of financial advisors. We assist clients in wealth management. I love my job. Have been here 6 years and work with a great group of people and a great company.
I have been married to Dan since 2000. We met in 1995 at Western. He works as a Project Manager at a custom casework and cabinet company here in Traverse City.
We have two beautiful children. Emma is 4 1/2 and Grady is 7 months. We are done. The kids are great and perfect but two is all I can handle.
We enjoy being outside, spending time at the lake, working on our house, etc.
For those of you that know my family....my parents sold their house on Torch a few years ago and moved out of Bellaire over to Grand Traverse Bay in Elk Rapids. They lived there a couple years and just last year moved over to Elk Lake. They are doing well. Mom is into antiques still and dad still owns Bear Paw in Bellaire but is nearing retirement. My sister Shana and her husband live in Williamsburg and have two boys and a girl on the way. She is a speech pathologist in the Traverse City schools. Taryn lives downtown Traverse City, is single and is also a Speech Pathologist in Traverse City schools.
That is pretty much it. Life is Good.
