In Memory

Beth Barnes (Finley)

Beth loved her family, dance, and our class. She was instrumental in organizing many of our reunions. I was fortunate to have a lengthy conversation with her in Feb. She shared about the years she 'mothered' dancers with the Houston ballet. Beth was devoted to Robert, her sons, and grandkids. She was a person of grace and compassion. She is missed.

Beth was truly one of a kind. She was always available to talk to about whatever you wanted to discuss. I was looking forward to seeing her at our reunion and she will be missed by all of us. She was genuine. Steve Kline

Beth was friends to so many.  I always looked forward to seeing she and Rob through the years since BHS....they are one of the few who have been married as long as us; we seemed to have lots of unspoken traits in common.  I will miss her.  Trish (Smith) Thompson

I was looking forward to seeing Beth at the reunion.  We had such good times in high school.  I am truly saddened to read of her death.

I haven't checked into this site in quite a while.  Beth's death comes as a shock and sad news for me.  I will miss seeing her very much.  My heart and prayers go out to her family, and many friends.

I am sorry to hear about Beth's death. She was a wonderful girl at Bellaire, always kind to all.

When I remember Beth who was a friend for 40+ years I run the full range of emotions that knowing someone that long will surely store up but mostly I smile.
