Mike worked for Exxon for 30 years, served as a a Naval Cryptologist with Navy units worldwide, was involved in St Thomas Episcopal Church in Burnsville, NC, Burnsville Lions Club, Meals on Wheels and North Carolina State Committee on Aging (Senior Tar Heels). He was a dear friend of mine. I suppose I knew him best through the TACS and Gethsemane Methodist Church. Had a lot of fun there. He is buried in Lakeland Hills Cemetery in Burnet, Texas.

He is survived by his sister,  Kathy Foster Mills.
