Comments:
Went from Bellaire High in 1970 to UT (Hook'em!); Graduated UT in 1974 with B.S. in Secondary Education; lived in Giddings,Texas teaching and realized I couldn't discipline them rascals (I had a hard enough time disciplining myself!) Went back to UT grad school, just in time to enjoy Earl Campbell's Heisman trophy year! Dropped out of grad school, and joined the Peace Corps from 1979-1981 in Belize. Was a wonderful experience!! Came back to Houston; married, have 2 wonderful kids; divorced; Went to U of H (Go Coogs!) and received my Master's in Social Work (MSW) in 1988! eventually remarried, no kids, attended my "step-son's" graduation from Bellaire High in 2003 (What a difference 33 years make!); got divorced again--Have been the "Wandering Jew of Social Work" and have worked everything from Headstart to Liver Transplants! Have been a Hospice Social Worker for 7 of the last 8 years! All in Houston...
Can't say that since 1970 it has all been a smooth ride, but it has been a good one so far!
