Russell G. Morris, 50, passed away on January 3rd, 2002, due to complications from diabetes. Preceded in death by his father, William G. Morris, and his brother Charles Morris. He is survived by his wife Gale, his daughter Sonya Atchison and Robin Reed, his sister Sandy Pardo, and his mother, Martha Faye Morris, and grandson Glenn Lorance.

Russell worked for Harris County Parks and Recreation as a horticulturalist and park designer.  He retired after bypass surgery to Crockett, Texas on a small farm/ranch in the late 1990's.
