My best memories are Teen Town, slumber parties at Ann's & Sandy Winterrowd's, riding around in Jackie's car, going to McDonald's park with Terry & riding her horse, walking to the Hugo with probably $1.00, Cliff Collins, Kathy Smith, Melissa Hill, proms, floats, Tom Altman's notes in Mr. Browning's class, being John Evan's asst. in Biology, cheering with Pat, Aggie, Cynthia,& Melissa, the public pool, listening to the top 100 countdown songs of the year, Rick Shaw & WQAM, "Goodnight My Love" sign-off every night, riding back & to the lake on maybe $1.00 of gas!, the Polar Bear,The Red Shutter, Kahn's, Sue's, Hollingsworth's, spending the night at June's and Vicki's, roller skating in the high school, PE with Wanda Goggans, our GREAT majorettes (Debbie, Vicki, Sandy, Jackie)& their behive "updos", and ALL the many times we spent at Suzanne's house, my GREAT friend Lynette, Friday night RAMS football, pep rallies, riding to Pahokee, and our wonderful "Group"!..boy wasn't life GREAT back then??

This is the story that always comes to mind...funny?..most definitely embarrassing!! If you can remember, the cheerleaders always stood in front of the goal posts at game time & ran the football team on the field. Our cue to run was when we saw the team approach the gate and one of the cheerleaders would yell..GO! This particular night, all Cynthia Thiebaud & I heard was...GO!.. and we did. What we didn't hear was...."NO,STOP!" We proudly ran onto the field waving our pom poms in the air only to discover that we had NOT run OUR team on the field...but our OPPONENTS!!! My other story I believe happened in 7th grade when mine & Pat's "friends" decided to write either my name or her's plus Cliff Collins all over the desks in various rooms. When the teachers saw this "graffiti" they decided that Pat & I should clean the desks after school! Very embarassing! Needless to say our friendship has continued!
