Loved and lost?  Never loved at all?  Got over him/her only to find you are haunted every now and then through the years?  Found out someone cared about you but you never knew it?  How do you handle it?  How has it handled you?

Now that's a million dollar question. Married and divorced three times. Almost married a few other times. Loved? Probably. Lost? most definately. Regrets? many. Have you seen Benjamin Buttons? The scene where he goes through the events that took place prior to the cab driver hitting his true love. If only ... How much of my life may have been different.  These things we'll never know. I spent many years praying for my happily ever after and I settled for something less. Maybe I'll find love again and this time I'll be more careful. There is life after divorce, break-ups and broken hearts. God has a way of shining His love and mercy on us and showers us with more joy than any of really deserve. One of the doctors I work with once asked us if anyone is ever truly happy with there "significant other". Often at work I hear married friends complain about this or that that there their spouses are doing or not doing and I wonder if being single is so bad after all. For now I'm content to dance with Jesus and He is my number one love.
