I've hopped around from Portland, Ore., to Boston, Mass., to Spokane, and now I'm back in Bellingham with my family. After college I taught eighth grade for three years, and then I worked as a journalist for about 10. I went back to teaching in 2010--primary grades this time--and am enjoying that very much.
My husband works at Shuksan Middle School, so I can no longer do the Whatcom Warriors activity bus chant. Life is good and full with our sweet girls. We love living in Belly Wash, being able to walk downtown from our house and bumping into old friends from time to time.
