Steven M. Bragg 54, a resident of Mount Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the Skagit Valley Hospital. Steve was born on April 1, 1953 in Glasgow, Kentucky, the son of Herbert H. and Mary Wilcox Bragg. At the age of eight he moved with his family from Kentucky to Bellingham, WA. He graduated from Bellingham High School. After High School he worked for Bellingham Marine for twenty years. He then was employed by Total Western, Inc. before his position with IMAC Construction as Superintendent for the past six years. Steve has lived the last 11 years in Mount Vernon with his loving wife Karen.
Steve enjoyed camping with his wife and dog Ginger, playing the games of golf and softball. He also believed he would find his fortune on the beach metal detecting. Most important to him was his family and friends.
Steve is survived by his wife, Karen of the family home; daughter, Tiffany Bragg (Preston) of Arlington, VA, step-daughter, Jennifer Beaulieu (David) of Mount Vernon, step-son, Kevin Brock (Shay) of Mount Vernon, six grandchildren, Hayden, Kayla, Devon, Michael, Kolton and Alex; father, Herbert Bragg of Bellingham; brother, Bill Bragg of Bellingham; sister, Roberta (Russ) Ward of Louisville, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Bragg, Sister, Wanda Brock and mother, Mary Balay.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2008, 2:00PM to 5:00PM at the Skagit County Fair Grounds, in Building A.
