Gregory Scot Phillips 54, passed away Monday, January 31, 2011. He was born February 8, 1956 in Bellingham to Robert and Lois Phillips. A graduate of Bellingham High School in 1973 he also received his B.A. degree from Western Washington University. Greg was a skilled carpenter, avid fisherman and a member of Carpenters Local 756. He enjoyed both listening to and playing music. Greg always looked forward to family functions and provided witty commentary as well as clever remarks to keep us on our toes.
He will be greatly missed by his mother Lois and step-father Chet Ressler; brother Jeff and wife Becky Phillips; nieces Jessica, Samantha and Jaclyn Phillips; family members Eugene and Hazel Montague of Bellingham, Ronald and Carol Phillips of Washougal, and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Phillips.
