Joyce L. Borden died August 14, 1993 in Puyallup. She was born in in Bellingham April 17, 1955. She has lived in the Pierce County area for the past 17 years. She enjoyed flower gardening and was active in the PTA with her kids. She had been a Parapro for the Sumner school District. She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church.

She was preceeded in death by her father Roy Huotte.  Survivors include husband Merv Borden; son Tyler Borden; daughter Shelby Borden; and mother Wilden Huotte of Bellingham.

Memorial services will be Thursday, 2 p.m. at Puyallup Nazarene Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Powers Funeral Home, Puyallup Chapel.
