July 6, 1944 to January 26, 2020
Gerald Gress, a trial attorney known for his huge smile and positive attitude, passed away in Yorba Linda, California in January 2020. He leaves a wife, Judy, two children, Sara and Jeremy, and four grandchildren, Dylan, Adam, Ethan, and Chase.

Gerald married Judy Scott almost 50 years ago. They had a wonderful loving marriage. He also leaves a half sister, Mary Abeyta.
Gerry was a wonderful friend, with a unique and marvelous sense of humor. He was a principal actor in several Carlmont drama productions and a gifted runner on the Carmont cross country and track teams.
We miss him greatly.

I should add that both Gerry and his older sister, Phyllis, served in the Peace Corps. Gerry in Tunisia and Phyllis in India. Phyllis died in a plane crash in India when she was returning to do more public service there.
