Charles Parker Smith III

          March 10, 1945 - April 04, 2016

Chuck passed away in Hollister, Missouri at the age of 71.  He was born in New York, New York, the son of Charles and Louise Smith.

Chuck married Becky Jo Cunningham (Carlmont Class of 1964) on May 7, 1967.

Chuck served in the US Navy for two tours in Vietnam as a Navy Seabee.

He earned his Bachelor's degree in Theology from Rhema Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Chuck spent most of his working years spreading the gospel of God's word as a minister.

He also worked as a general contractor and a businessman.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Becky Smith of Hollister; daughter, Brigid Grant and husband Warren of California; son, Jason Smith and wife Tena of Hollister; three grandchildren, Courtland Bates-Wind, Sara Grant, and Andrew Grant; brother, Robert L. Smith and wife Evie of California. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private burial was held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
