Kathy Blundell (Quinn) passed away in November 2004 from cancer. She was married for many years to her husband Art, who, I believe, passed away not to long before her. They had one child Kelley who gave them their loving grandchildren. I knew Kathy for many years and she was a very good friend who always kept in touch no matter how many years had gone by . At the time of her death, after losing contact with her, Kathy was trying to find our friend Linda Smith (Harding) but was not successful. I have many good memories of Kathy....I remember when she lived in the Sterling Downs track and we were waiting for the school bus and all of a sudden she remembered that she left her comb at home. She decided to go back and get it and this made her miss the bus. I called her from school and unfortunately her mother answered the phone and then discovered Kathy hiding in her closet. Years later it gave us a good laugh! I also remember spending the night at Kathy's house and her mother would always fix macaroni and cheese because she knew that I loved it and I must say her mother made a wonderful macaroni and cheese, which is still my favorite.

I remember Kathy being in my P.E. class and a fellow redhead!
