Roger Pegram Obituary

William Roger M. Pegram, 51, of Charlotte, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 18, 2019. He was born October 30, 1967 in Gaston County, to Bobbie Robinette Pegram and the late William "Bill" Frank Pegram.

Roger was raised in Belmont, and graduated from Western Carolina University with a BA of Science. He was a member of the former church, McAdenville United Methodist and Park Street UMC Belmont since 2018. He was a long-time employee of Brixx, Foxcroft. He enjoyed life with family and friends and was a loving son to his parents and his family.


Roger is survived by his mother, Bobbie Pegram of Belmont; aunts, Roseanne Christopher of Mt. Holly, Jane Robinette, Florida; uncle, Larry R. Robinette, Belmont; and numerous cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Jackie and Eddie Murphy; maternal grandparents, H. Mack and Lillie R. Robinette; paternal grandparents, Phillip and Elma Pegram.

Services are private for the family.
