Your contributions will make these forums much more interesting.

Note: We could use help keeping this going. If you love connecting, listening and adding a few thoughts here and there...pitch in!  We will love you back.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

[IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT] October 2021 Beloiter Days: Homecoming, Reunion, and Family & Friends Weekend will be virtual

Dear Beloit alumni, families, and friends,

As we approach the beginning of the 2021-22 academic year, we have your promised update on 2021 Beloiter Days. While we had hoped to host everyone in person, surging COVID-19 cases across the country due to the highly contagious Delta variant means that we must celebrate differently.

We hope you will join us for a weeklong virtual celebration kicking off on September 27. We are planning a full schedule of daily interactive events, including faculty lectures, DJ and trivia nights, and class and affinity reunion gatherings. We’ll also celebrate the 2020 and 2021 Distinguished Service Citation and Young Alumni Award honorees. Stay tuned for our schedule of events coming soon.

As you can appreciate, we did not come to this decision lightly. While the College’s ability to stay open and in person last year was a national success story, the Delta variant continues to pose challenges for all of us. Though it means we are not yet able to fully gather for Beloiter Days, we are committed to following our COVID-19 Task Force’s recommendations to ensure a healthy, vibrant, and happy academic year for all our communities, including you.

We’ll try again next year for an epic celebration, recombining Homecoming, Reunion, and Family Weekend in person. In the meantime, thank you for your understanding and gracious support for another successful Beloit semester ahead.

If you have questions, please contact us at alumni@beloit.edu.

Best wishes,

– Your Alumni Office Team
