I'm so sorry to learn of Willie's passing. He was the best - a good and kind man. Teri, you and your family are in my prayers at this sad time, but I'm also certain that you and your family are remembering and celebrating Willie with many memories of happy times. Russ
I had coffee with Willie Thursday morning. It was his and Teri's 54th anniversary and he was teasing her about the first time he saw her standing by her locker. He was looking forward to their fishing trip to Red Lake and in such a happy mood. We will always remember you that way, dear old friend! Mary Jo & Terry
How wonderful that Willie was apparently enjoying life to the end! My heart and prayers go out to you, Teri, and to your family.
Willie did his best to teach me to drive a stick shift - between him and my dad, I did sorta learn.......got better about 20-30 years later, but never volunteered to drive stick shift The things we remember (on any good day).
The deepest possible condolences to you, Teri, at the passing of our highly cherished, one-and-only-Willie. Indeed, of all our classmates he was, for me at least, probably the individual who always seemed "larger-than-life" in some curious, but admirably solid way. I vividly remember him not only from our high school football days when he and Jon Young once put "Icy Hot" in Roger Poole's athletic supporter, but also in later years when it gradually dawned on me just how perceptive and bright he actually was. I mean, he could almost always—surprisingly lightning-fast—come up with some humorously witty thing to say, couldn't he? There is no way I am ever going to forget Willie. Stay strong and well, Teri.
Willies' porkettas were the best. So sad to hear of his passing. I'm thinking of my life now and wondering how often will I hear of another class member passing before it's my turn. And when it is my turn, will I be ready? RIP Willie
We want to extend our prayers to you, Teri and the rest of your family! Please know that you are surrounded with love and kind thoughts in this difficult time....Shirley and Wayne
Willie was one of the few "jocks" who was kind to a skinny "geek" like me. I will always respect him for that. He was fun to have as a classmate and to see at all the reunions. Rest in peace my friend.
