SFC Albert (Ret) Burgess Obituary

Army Sergant 1st Class Ret. Albert Burgess, son of late Alfred and Pauline Burgess, died peacefully at home in Florida on January 24, 2019. "Bert" had a great love for his country earning the BRONZE STAR during his 20 years of service. After retiring from the Army, he received his Master's Degree in Computer Science and worked at McAfee until his retirement. He married his long time companion Donna Perez in September 2018. Bert was predeceased by his sister Harriet Harrington, brother USMC S/SGT Harold Brace and nephew Ricky Brooks. He is survived by siblings: James (Nancy) Kittel, Marjorie (Phillip) White: Wayne (Julie) Burgess. Sister -in-law Carol Brace, Brother in law Seymour Brooks, Uncle Elmer (Linda) Burgess and many more family and friends. There will be a service of remembrance Saturday February 23rd, 2pm at the Vermont Veterans Home Chapel.
