Moffitt of Bennington and the loving father of Damien Moffitt of New York City. He was born in Bellows Falls, Vt., October 9, 1955. He survived six years of Catholic school while fantasizing about being James Bond or a Hell's Angel and graduated from Mount Anthony Union High School in 1973. He ate drank and slept motorcycles including racing motocross in the U.S. and overseas in the '70s. He served in the Navy as a Seabee from 1975 to 1979. During his lifetime he lived in several locations in the U.S. and in Europe and moved to New York City in 1986. He lived in New York for over 20 years, raising a family and working as an art handler. Music was his sanctuary. He played drums in many bands and recorded on several CDs and vinyl. His band, Missing Foundation, toured in Europe in the early '90s. Jim influenced his son to share his love of playing the drums and performing. Jim's most recent endeavor was his business, Wicked Wicked, where he worked in metal and wood fabrication and tattoo design. ,Jim affected many people's lives with his gregarious and magnetic personality as well as his infectious (yet dry and sarcastic) humor. May you rest in peace, Spider.

A lot of good memories, and I hope you had a great life. It sure sounds like you did.

Sorry we didn't see more of each other after graduation, but we both had things to accomplish. You will be missed, and remembered by all who were lucky enough to meet you.

Rest in peace, my friend.

Much sympathy to Jimmy's loved ones.

Jimmy Moffitt ... your name has just always been there in my life, both being survivors of that "Catholic School" !  DARN, if I knew you were busy being James Bond back then, I would have been your accomplice. I am loving hearing that music and seeing the nuns wisking around us.
As students there I guess we were all Hell's "Angles". Who knew there were so many Holy Days but we got through it!  I still remember a small ceramic gift from you back then.

At times this world is challenging, difficult and cruel. I hope you are at peace.

Your Sacred Heart Friend
