Kathleen A. Nichols


BENNINGTON - Kathleen Ann "Kathy" Nichols, 58, died Dec. 17, 2014, of liver cancer, at her home in St. Augustine, Fla.

She was born Feb. 3, 1956, the daughter of Barbara Connelly and Orville Peterson.

Survivors include four siblings, Brighid Jeanne of Wales, United Kingdom, June Azzaro of Connecticut, Ella Leonard and James Peterson, both of Bennington; and her son, Jared Stemp of Bennington.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, John Nichols; a sister, Mary Ann; and her son, Tyson "TJ."

The memorial service in Bennington will be announced at a later date.

Burial will be in Florida.
