Mary Ellen Rogalski 1956-2013 Mary Ellen Rogalski of Bennington died Saturday, August 10 at the Center for Living and Rehabilitation after a courageous 2-year battle with cancer. She was 56. Mary was born to Helen and Casimir Rogalski of Bennington on September 22, 1956, and was educated in the Bennington School system, graduating Mount Anthony Union High School in 1976. Earlier in her life she had worked at the Jard Company, Marty Moore Florists, and The Apple Barn.She loved the outdoors, especially gardening, fishing, and photography.She is survived by her mother Helen, two brothers: Robert (Penny) of Bennington, and James (Susana Dancy) of Chapel Hill, N.C.; two sisters: Joanne Betit (Jeffrey) of Bridgewater, Mass, and Laurie of Bennington; nephews Marshall and Taylor Rogalski, and Collin and Cameron Betit, and niece Helen Rogalski. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and many cousins. There will be a private memorial service for her family.
