Christopher Hattat

Christopher (Chris) William Hattat, 64, was called home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2022, after a long and brave battle with chronic kidney disease. He was born on August 17, 1957 in Bennington, VT to Milton and Helen (Lanoue) Hattat. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen. He leaves behind and will be greatly missed by the love of his life and wife of 38 years, Linda; his father, Milton Hattat; his children, Kurt Hewitt, Keith Hewitt, Chrystal (Jerry) Varela; and his grandchildren; his brother and best friend, Jeffrey (Cheryl) Hattat, his beloved sister, Lynn (Kevin) Dean and his younger brother Greg (Colleen) Hattat; as well as many family and friends to numerous to list that he loved and loved him dearly. Chris was a hard worker at Sprague Electric, followed by and retired from Cavallaro Plastics. He adored spending time with his family at the Pownal American Legion. He and his wife vacationed often at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina and loved it enough to retire there. He reveled in weekend touring trips and rallies on his motorcycle. Learning his love for golf from his father, he played often with dear friends. He appreciated a simple life surrounded by family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on August 20, 2022 at the Pownal Legion starting at 1:30pm. Donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation in his memory.
