Marge M. Gendek (Foy)

Margaret M. Foy (nee Gendek) passed away June 5th at her home in Holland, PA. She was predeceased by her wonderful, loving husband Edward D. Foy, Jr in 2001.

Margaret is survived by her four children: Edward Foy III of Holland, PA, Christine Foy Gaudet and her husband Christopher of Richboro, PA , Michele Foy Clayton and her husband Marc of King Of Prussia, PA and Julie Foy of Melrose, MA. She was the beloved grandmother of Valerie, Izabella, John, Dale, Marc, Daniel, Kelly, Sebastien, Nolan and Shane. She was fortunate enough to find love a second time with her partner, Stoney MacAdams of Holland and gained a second family with his children Stoney, Michael, Jason, Nathaniel and their spouses and children.

The beloved daughter of the  late John Gendek and the late Josephine Gendek, Margaret was also survived by her sister Ruth Zook and her husband Walter, Dorothy Mitchener and her husband Robert, Thomas Gendek and his wife Marie, sister in law Denise Quinn and her husband Thomas, and sister in law Sheila Kilpatrick. She is predeceased by her brother Jack Gendek, brother in law James Foy and sister in law Sister Sheila Foy, I.H.M.

Margaret grew up in Bensalem, PA and graduated from Bensalem High School . She worked at Rohm and Haas before becoming a secretary at her husband’s law firm in Richboro, PA where she kept things running smoothly.

There are no words to adequately communicate the joy, beauty and laughter she gifted to all of those lucky enough to be in her life. Marge knew how to make everyone feel welcome. Always thoughtful and generous with her time and her love. Marge was the life of the party but always made sure everyone was having a great time too.

She was a devout Catholic and had a strong faith. She was truly appreciative of all of the good in the world and always found occasion to celebrate the positive. She will be sorely missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Friday from 10:30 AM until her Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966.  Her interment will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Camilla Hall Nursing Home at 100 Maxis Drive in Malvern, PA 19355.
