Eilene M. Dougherty (Kurzepski)

Eilene M. (Dougherty) Kurzepski, 89, of Wilmington, DE passed away with her sons at her side on Saturday, June 13, 2015.

Eilene was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 23, 1926, daughter of the late James and Agnes (Penney) Dougherty.  She served with the Civil Air Patrol during World War II and was a charter member of Women In Military Service For America (WIMSA).  She was also active with the Boy Scouts of Delmarva, having been awarded the Silver Beaver and Silver Fawn medals.  Her husband, Stanley J. Kurzepski, passed away in 1982.

Eilene is survived by her sons, John S. Kuzepski and wife, Elise, and Robert J. Kuzepski and wife, Patricia; her granddaughters, Tena Schlingmann and Terri McMahon; her great granddaughters, Addie, Ila and Lauren; and her sister, Louise Bleiler.

Friends are invited to the visitation at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington on Thursday, June 18 from 10:00-10:45AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM.  Entombment will be held privately.
