Walter E. Gauthier Konschak

Walter E. Konschak of Southampton died peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, at his home. He was 75. Born in Philadelphia, Walter was a resident of Southampton for the past 27 years. Walter was the beloved husband to Suzanne P. Anderson Konschak for the past 28 years, the son of the late Richard and Agnes Hinger Konschak, and brother of the late Robert Konschak. Walter was a graduate of Bensalem High School, class of 1960. He worked as a meat cutter and Meat Manager for Holiday-Thriftway Markets for over 46 years. Walter had a lot of hobbies; he enjoyed working around his home, gardening and growing tomatoes in his garden. He was an accomplished woodworker and looked forward to going to Antique Car Shows. He was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Southampton. Walter will be remembered for his gracious smile and warm and caring ways. In addition to his beloved wife, Suzanne, Walter is survived by his children and their spouses, Kimberly Buch and her husband, H L Buch, Connie Krepich and her husband, Mike, Kristine Williams and her husband, John, Carolanne Braisden and her husband, Frank, and Patricia Konschak. Walter is also survived by his sister, Evelyn Pagliacetti and her husband, Michael; his sister-in-law, Eileen Konschak; and his 10 cherished grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 9 until 10:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, followed by his funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 877 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966. Walter’s interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Philadelphia.
