In Memory

Frederick M. Gabriele - Class Of 1968

Frederick M. Gabriele

Frederick M. Gabriele of Morrisville passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the age of 73. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Velia and Michael Gabriele and was a resident of Morrisville for the past 28 years and was formerly of the Andalusia Section of Bensalem.

Fred, as he was affectionately known, lived a life full of joy, kindness, and a passion for nature. With his warm smile and friendly demeanor, Fred left an indelible mark on all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. While Fred held many jobs over the years, he found the most enjoyment from working in sales from clothing to videos to gardening. He was especially fond of working side by side with his departed friend and owner of Woodhaven Greenery located at Woodhaven Road and Bristol Pike, where he shared his extensive knowledge of plants and gardening with customers.

While Fred had many interests, his fondest moments were spent fishing every chance he got and tending to his lawn. As an avid sports fan, Fred cheered passionately for the Philadelphia Eagles, loved NASCAR racing and was always ready to root for the Penn State Nittany Lions, his favorite college football team. He loved attending Nittany Lions games and Nascar races at Pocono Speedway.

Above all else, Fred loved spending time with the love of his life, Barbara. Fred and Barbara met June of 1984 and on a whim got married June of 1998. The two ran off to Elkton, MD and continued to travel back to MD for many years.
Their travels also took them to upstate New York and to the Poconos. They always enjoyed spending time with family and a multitude of friends,

Fred is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 39 years, Barbara A. (Reigle) Gabriele. He is also survived by his son, Frederick M. Gabriele, Jr.: His sister, Angela Giampietro, his sister-in-law, Dolly Gabriele. He will also be deeply missed by his mother-in-law, Helen Reigle (of the late Ronald), sisters-in-law Melissa Leon (Gary) and Kimberley Reigle; Nieces: Annamarie, Jessica and Megan and many other loving extended family members and friends. Fred was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Gabriele.

Services and interment will be private.
