Joseph P. Collins of Abington, PA died on Friday, August 14, 2026. He was 74.

Born in Greenwich, CT, Joseph was the beloved husband of Barbara J. Van O’Linda and the
loving son of the late Joan Collins.

Joseph worked as a social worker for both the state of Pennsylvania and in private
practice for the length of his career. An avid lover of music, Joseph could be
found listening to his favorite songs, watching concert videos, and playing the
guitar. He was also a car and gadget fanatic, always investigating the latest
gizmo or gearbox with unabashed gusto. 

Joseph is survived by his loving sons, Ryan Collins and his wife Celeste of Abington

and Liam Collins and his wife Cassie of Damascus, MD. He is also survived by
two adoring granddaughters: Genevieve and Seraphina.
