Patricia S. "Pat" Czerniak

Sunday, March 30th, 1952 - Sunday, July 23rd, 2023

Patricia S. (Crossan) Czerniak of Bensalem passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital. She was 71 years old. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late May E. (Deans) Ciervo and William Crossan, Sr. Pat was a lifelong resident of Bensalem. Although Pat was a licensed cosmetologist, she chose to be a full-time homemaker that loved being a mother and raising her children and grandchildren. She lent a helping hand whenever possible with meals, transportation, or even organizing an event for anyone she cared for. She enjoyed gardening at home as well as at Neshaminy State Park in the Sarobia Garden with her Classmates of 1970. Pat loved all animals especially butterflies and hummingbirds, tracking their arrival each season and planting items in her garden specifically that they could eat so she could watch them. She adored her two Maltese “Bad boys” Ben and Jerry. She was a proud Bensalem High School graduate, wearing the latest version of the high school’s sweatshirt with “Class of 1970” displayed. She tracked the school’s sports teams and shared them on Facebook. She was an avid Phillies fan and loved decorating her home for the Christmas holiday. Her tree each year looking like a department store display. She took time to do little things that made you feel special or could help you. Pat will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 51 years, Albert “Al” Czerniak. She will also be deeply missed by her 3 loving children: April McLoughlin (Tom), Albert J. Czerniak, Jr (Erica) and David Czerniak (Stacy); Her 7 grandchildren: Alexis, Thomas, Daniel, Jack, Sarah, Nickolas and Kaylee; And many other loving family members and friends. Pat was preceded in death by her brother, William Crossan, Jr and her stepfather, Larry Ciervo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing, Friday, July 28, 2023, from 10 to 11 AM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her service at 11 AM. Interment Beechwood Cemetery.
