So sorry to hear about Ed Wheat, nice guy. I'm sure Claire and his family are just devastated. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.

I cannot believe this happened so suddenly. Ed was a giving and caring man, and he will be missed by his community and his family. A gentle soul, Ed loved his family, especially his wife Claire, and his cats. He also loved Eddington Fire Company with a passion. My heart breaks for his family.

I am so sorry to hear this news.  I just messaged Edwin a month ago regarding the 50th year high school reunion.  He told me he was already going with Claire.  My mother saved everything from when I was in school all the way back to kindergarten.  I went through the old papers and found a story I had written about Edwin for a school project.  I was going to bring it and give it to him.  I just can't believe this.  We used to hang out at Edwin's house many years ago.  What a nice fellow and devoted family man.  My deepest sympathies to his wife, Claire, children and family......God Bless....
