Robert C. Bob Loper - Class Of 1943 VIEW PROFILE

Robert C. Bob Loper

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of the greatest men to ever live, you may know him as Robert Craig Loper, Bob , Robert, Big Bob , Mr Loper and “who’s that guy with the bugle.” Our dad went to heaven to have a beer with Kevin and dance with our Mom again on March 26th , 2024. He lived a full life of 98 years. Dad was a WW2 veteran being a signalman in the Navy. He did so much in his life working a full time job while going to night school at University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. He built 4 houses including one he built in sections and drove down the shore and popped it up on 26th street in N Wildwood.

He ran a successful accounting practice and helped Mom run an entertaining catering business called “Classic Affairs”. This is where all their friends would gather and dance, drink and have fun. He was the best Santa to so many families children. Our Christmas celebrations were second to none. It was the foundation of our family. There was nothing this man could not fix. My Dad was a scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America troop 155 as well as a soccer coach when needed. He volunteered along with my mom for Bensalem HS Sports association for over 20 years. He was an active member of the Reilly Raiders Marching Band He taught me and my brothers right from wrong and the importance of taking care of your elders. Our Parents took care of both my grandparents and my father’s Aunt Kath. He taught all of us that there is nothing you cannot do in this life, including things like carpentry, plumbing, skiing, fishing, camping, engine repair, along with all of life’s bare necessities . He gave us all the confidence to be an entrepreneur and how to do it. His love for the shore and being by the water was never ending so he bought a boat(40 Ft Chris Craft) and that was his vacation getaway with my Mom until they moved to their home in Delaware on the water.

He loved hearing all about his grandkids and was so proud of all of them. Everyday will be impacted by what by what you have taught all of us. God we will miss you Dad, dance the night away with Mom. Bob is survived by his sons and family Glenn Loper , Laurie Rosedale, Robert Loper III, Alicia Loper , Allison Loper , Abigail Loper, Robert Loper IV, Jacqueline Loper-Delaney, Kevin Delaney and Andrew Loper.
