Lonnie, dear Lonnie, Yes, he was a wonderfull person, friend, father, and husband. I really miss Lonnie and I'm sure as many classmates feel, we loved him lots. He was mischisvous, witty, loving, and a wonderful person. Lonnie was married to Sharon and had 2 daughters: Shana Leigh who is probably about 32 years old now and Loni Erin who is approximately 22 yrs old now. I'm sure he would be very proud of his daughters right now. Lonnie was great in school; however, many (especially teachers) thought he was rather mischievous. He really liked to get on Mr Thompsons nerves (which didn't take much). Anyway, I do want Lonnie remembered at our 2009 reunion. I can't remnember when he died....maybe someone else can. Lonnie will always be remembered................Jean Lee
I remember Lonnie as loving to have fun and making us all laugh. He also loved to tease! My last memory is the Reunion at Myrtle Beach and Lonnie wearing shorts with his tan except his feet which were really white from where he had worn socks.
Other than being fun, I think Lonnie was a person who cared about other people and though he teased he was never cruel.
