TRIBUTE TO LUCINDA MATTHEWS COATS

My friend, my sister, you will always be to me,

I can't imagine how life without you is going to be.

We've laughed, we've cried, we've shared so much,

And hardly a Day we didn't stay in touch.

Thank you for making my life so much fun,

And sharing with me when your dinner was done.

I will cherish the memories we have made through life,

And think of you often to make my day a little bright.

My sweet Lucinda, you were one of a kind,

Never a dull moment and never a dull mind.

Rest in Peace, you've earned your crown.

You did it with a smile and never with a frown.

  Thanks for the Memories! ♥

Dura, What a wonderful tribute to Lucinda.

You always did have a "way with words" and you have really "out done" yourself with this outstanding poem.

Lucinda was, indeed, a very special person and she will always be missed.

Hugs and Love to you for being the sister she never had and her friend.

My memories of Lucinda are nothing but the best.  She was a good friend always and one of my smartest classmates.  We double dated together and sometimes dated each others boyfriends but she had the upper hand in dating good looking Kirby Coats and of course marrying him.  I will always remember taking French under Mrs. Lambert and Lucinda helping me pass the class.

Dura, your poem was outstanding and brought tears to my eyes in reading it.  I know you miss her terribly and one day you will be back together in Heaven.

God Bless, Brenda Langdon (class of 1958)
