Lewis Earl completed the 9th grade at Benson High School. We moved away and he graduated from Hope Mills High School in 1966. Those of you that remember him he had a wonderful personality and never meet a stranger. His sister Barbara Williams was 1 grade behind him and I was 2 grades behind him. I believe he was friends with Chuck Parker, Glenn Lee and Barry Bostic to name a few. Lewis Earl married Kay Bryan and they had one child Charlie Lewis Williams. Lewis Earl was 25 years old when he was killed in an automobile accident in 1972. We still miss him and wonder if he had the privilege of longer years. How much he would have changed!
