MARINA, CA- DANE HOLLAND passed away at the age of 52 on July 8th, 2009. Following his wishes, Dane has been cremated and his ashes are to be scattered at sea at his memorial service at the beach he loved so much, Marina State Beach, at 10 am on Saturday, August 22nd.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Dane grew up in Benton, Arkansas, where a separate memorial service is to be held. Never one to stand back and watch others, he was known for living his life full throttle and wide open. In his youth he began racing professionally and later earned multiple black belts in several different martial arts. Always one to fill a room, Dane was known as the life of the party. Where ever he went he never met a stranger. For his quick wit, fun loving nature, and dedication to his friends, Dane will always be remembered and sorely missed.
