Gerald Miller VIEW PROFILE

Gerald Miller was born December 28, 1956 in Elgin, Illinois. Gerald moved to Benton in the summer before the 8th grade in 1970. Gerald and others quickly made a mark on Westside Jr. High by seeing who could pull the biggest pranks!. Gerald was married to Shirley Putnam Miller (Bauxite) at the time of his death. Gerald was an electrician and had just started a new project with his wonderful boss, Chuck Richardson. Gerald had a heart attack in the morning of January 18th on MLK Day. He was survived by Shirley, whom he loved dearly, her two children, David and Jennifer Crocker, and his two grandchildren that he adored... Jacob and Kaleigh. He was survived by brothers, Donald Miller (class of 73), Keith Miller (class of 77) amd Meredith Miller Wineland (class of 76).
Although Gerald never liked school, he had become an avid reader, sharing all of his books with many. Once he was not "forced" to attend school, he tried to absorb every area of history. His gift to others,
( beside his laughter) was that his eyes were able to be donated so others could share his sight.
