I had not seen or heard from Jo Ellyn since high school but I was saddened to hear of her passing. I remember her as an extremely nice and popular young lady who, as a teenager, was mature enough to notice when other people seemed less than cheerful and was kind enough to say or do something to lift their spirits. Not surprisingly, her many friends held her in high esteem.
