Obituary for Lewis L. Coburn

Lewis L. Coburn, 62, of Three Oaks died Friday, Nov 23, 2012 at the Lakeland Medical Center in Niles.

Services celebrating his life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, Dec 1, at the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Harbor with Rev. Dwayne Bonds officiating. Burial will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI on Monday. The visitation will begin at 10 AM before the service at the Fairplain Chapel. Lewis was born on Oct 26, 1950 in Memphis, TN to Harriet and Arthur Coburn. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War who served his country in the US Army. Lewis loved fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; his daughters, Youlanda (Steven) Linsdey and Evette (Bill Brinson) Potts; his sons, Delvan Coburn, Lamorre (Nadia Morris) Martin, Alonzo (Jerika Couch) Moore and Larry Moore; his mother-in-law, Viola Daniels, his 19 grandchildren, his 3 great grandchildren, his sister, and his 2 brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and his father-in-law, Gussie Daniels.
