Roger Woodruff, 73 of Stevensville passed away peacefully Wednesday May 14th at Corwell Hospital after a long illness. Cremation has taken place and we will have a celebration of life in the fall(TBA) Roger was born 09/15/1951 to Corbett and Mary Lucille (Parritt) Woodruff. He was a valuable employee for Gast Mfg and Whirlpool for many years. He had the biggest heart and trusting soul. He made friends wherever he went. He was a long time drag racer and track announcer at Osceola Dragway, Bunker Hill Dragway and Martin Dragway. The racers, workers and track owners soon became like family. He loved attending car shows with Vickie and the kids. His family was the most important thing in the world to him. Roger touched so many hearts while he was doing what he loved. Everybody knew Roger. He will be truly missed by many. He is survived by his Wife Vickie Nordberg, Son Michael (Brittany) Woodruff, Daughter Dina(Lee) Malone, Stepson Matthew(Janelle) Nordberg, Grandson Michael Malone, Great Grandson Elijah Malone and his furry buddy Nash. He was preceded in death by Corbett & Lucille(Parritt) Woodruff and his 7 siblings
