Richard G. Head, 60, of Eau Claire, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at his home.
Rick was born on Aug. 14, 1951 in St. Joseph, MI to Forrest and Evelyn (Fowler) Head. Following his graduation from Benton Harbor High School, he served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Rick was employed at Crop Production Services as a Warehouse Technician for the past five years.
Rick is survived by his daughter Sara Head of Kalamazoo; his father Forrest Head of Benton Harbor; his sister Jewel ( Ron) Nimtz of Benton Harbor; nieces Cindy Nimtz and Stephanie Blaylock; and his nephew Skyler.
An Open House Celebration of Rick’s life will be held from 1- 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the Farmer’s Country Club located at 5265 E. Napier Avenue in Bainbridge Township. The North Berrien Military Rites Team will begin the celebration with Military Rites at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
