Scott L. Findlay

Mar. 15, 1950 – July 20, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Scott Laird Findlay of Benton Harbor announces his passing on Monday, July 20, 2020, at the age of 70.

Scott will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Shawnna (Mike) Wood; sister, Pauline (Dennis) Monte; nephews, Brian Monte and Michael Findlay; grandchildren, Amanda Dunnington, Miranda Parker and Bret Cowgill; as well as two great-grandchildren. Scott will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Findlay; son, Todd Findlay; mother, Gertrude “Trudy” Ingram; stepfather, Benny “Lefty” Ingram; and brother, Carylee Findlay.

Scott graduated from Benton Harbor High School. He spent many years working for Manley Brothers and Monte Packaging. He loved being on Lake Michigan fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

At Scott’s request no services will be held at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Purely Cremations – Starks Family Funeral Home.
