ROBERT MARK JACOBSON ,66, of Strongsville. Loving father of Christopher Jacobson; dear brother of Thomas Jacobson (Connie) and Kirk Jacobson (Cindy); beloved son of the late Rev. Robert H. Jacobson and the late Jane Ann (nee Hottell) Jacobson; nephew of John Hottell (Rita), Janet Burkhardt (Skip) and Nola Bonandrini (Ben). Mark graduated from Benton Harbor, MI High School in 1969 where he excelled in basketball and football. He then graduated from Alma College in Alma, MI in 1973 with a B.A. degree, and was Vice President "Epi Prytanis" of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. In 1976, Mark graduated from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant with an M.B.A. and was a member of the Sigma Iota Epsilon Honorary Management Fraternity. Mark worked for Aetna Inc. for 28 years from 1973 to 2001, having worked in Saginaw, MI, Hartford, CT, and Richfield, OH, and retired as an Account Executive. He received his professional designation of Chartered Life Underwriter from The American College in 1986. Mark was active with coaching youth recreation teams in Strongsville, and enjoyed golfing, swing-dancing, playing basketball and softball in men's leagues, and running in road races. Mark was also a proud supporter of Alma College, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and all of Cleveland's pro sports teams. He passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017.
