Deborah Loretta Scott Toffelmire, 72, of Benton Harbor passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Corewell Health South, St. Joseph.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Pokagon Band Community Center, 27043 Potawatomi Trail Dowagiac, MI 49047. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

Deborah was born on September 30, 1951 in Benton Harbor, the daughter of the late Paschal and Fannie (Waddle) Scott. In 1971, she married Richard Toffelmire and he preceded her in death in 1988. Deborah enjoyed knitting, crocheting, flower gardening, painting ceramics, jewelry making, horseback riding, and photography.

Survivors include her daughters: Heather (Stacy) Collett and Michelle Toffelmire; grandchildren: Britney, Brianna, and Lyndsie Toffelmire, Trenton and Brandon Collett; great grandchildren: Hunter, Leo, Reign, and Palmer Collett, Aadi and Asher White, and Royia Bartha; two sisters: Sheilia (Greg) Watts and Cyndi (Ken Jewell) Kraklau; and her companion of 34 years: Edwin Eastman.
